The course will enable students to gain grounding in the historical and philosophical foundations, characteristics, role, and challenges of the nonprofit sector in general. Students will also understand the evolution of the non-profit sector into the fastest growing sector of various economies. Students will also gain perspectives on the management, financial, leadership, and governance issues and ethical issues facing nonprofit entities.
