This module is an overview of the Development of the Christian Church in Africa. It explores the rise of Christianity in North and East Africa from the 3rd Century until the Islamic incursions in the seventh century. Having explored the North and East African Christianity, the module places the spotlight on the entrance of Western Missions in Africa and the development of African Christianity therefrom until the contemporary era.
