This course is a four and half (4.5) credit unit course in a study of Leadership Development and Quality Issues in Education including the introduction of the definitions of key terms: leadership development, education quality and education and the issues associated with these. Developmental issues in the leadership scenario as portrayed by ancient theories and current trends. Practices and approaches in leadership for pursuance of goals in the organization, reasons for quality education, equity, equality and relevance in the international forum, education traditions and associated notions of quality.
