This module surveys the development of the Christian Church from the Reformation until the Present Era. It considers the Reformation as watershed in the development of the Christian Church and it therefore tracks the multiple currents emerging from the aforementioned. The module focuses on both the internal and external factors that influenced the path of the Christian Church. By internal factors, this module refers to the activities within the Christian Church while external factors refer to the political, social, and economic realities within the broader society that surrounded the Christian Church. Students who enroll in this course are expected to have completed History of the Christian Church I.
