The course Philosophy of Christian education considers the aims of Christian education. The Basis of the course is that true education has
as according to the words is not just a perusal of just a certain
course of a certain course of study but it has to do with the whole
being. True education has
the aim of preparing someone for the joy in this world as well the
comforts of the world to come. In line with the above view the course
will contrast Christian and secular education. The course will tackle the major components of Christian education. The examples are the concepts of Christian Education from the Old and the New Testament. The relationship between education character and discipline. the Holistic nature of Christian Education. The major thrust of this course is application, the way one sees education should change and the basic aspects learnt will affect the whole person and lead basically to character change.
