This course provides a comprehensive overview of ethical issues in the fashion industry, from collection design concept to upcycling and closed-loop production. Contemporary issues in fashion as they relate to environmental impact, human rights, sizeism, ageism, and lack of diversity in media, ecology, cultural copyright speciesism will be explored. Students will also study the role of the consumer and technology in future ethics.  An opportunity to discuss fashion ethics from an Adventist perspective will also be offered.
