Brief description
Accounting with software packages is basically Financial Accounting 1A and 1B. It involves the recognition of business financial activity, summarizing and presenting the periodic financial reports to aid in Stakeholder decision making. Therefore Financial Accounting 1B is a prerequisite for Accounting Software packages.
Therefore by integrating the software package into business systems, our role as accountants is to input periodic data, to be sorted by means of automated processes, and finally to produce the complete set of Financial Statements and reports.

Software Packages is motivated by the changes in the business and
economic environment which demand more efficient and effective methods
for financial information provision.
