1. Course Objectives
This course has five goals:
- To take some of the frustration out of reading large portions of the biblical text.
- To slowly introduce students to intermediate grammar, inductively
- To help the students to become so accustomed to studying the biblical text in Hebrew that they will continue doing so after they have left their formal schooling environment.
- Give students a basic insight into the problem of Bible interpretation and translation.
- To consolidate and apply the basics of biblical Hebrew grammar
