THEO/BIBL 222 Greek IV Bimester

Course Objectives:                                                                                                                       

·         To help the students in reviewing and expanding their grammar, word formation, reading, syntax, and vocabulary from Basics of Biblical Greek by William D. Mounce, and other sources.

·         To expand the student’s ability to read and translate completely: John 15:1-11, taking note of declension, conjugation, and parsing of various selected forms of biblical Greek.

·         To introduce and acquaint the students with Greek exegesis leading to academic paper writing;

·         To help the student to put to use information and principles learnt on the flowing (application):  textual analysis (criticism), structural analysis, and phrasing (functions).
